It pays tribute to the nabab René Madec who built his retreat here following his return home from that part of the world at the end of the 18th century.Behind the historic manor stands an old-fashioned building with ten rooms, some with terrace, and under the beams, 4 junior suites. Built in traditional style with natural materials : freestone, oak, teck, terracotta imported from Indonesia, hemp, limestone and tadelakt walls all provide their individual charm while under a stone vault, the heated indoor swimming pool helps guests unwind looking onto a wall fresco with Oriental accents.
